The green hills of upstate New York, a small cottage in the redwoods of California, terraced rice fields in Bali, and terraced vineyards in Sonoma County. Each of these places have been home and have helped form my inspiration, point of view, and knowledge of the importance of keeping nature in our lives in this ever-modern world.

My love of textiles drew me to study at The Fashion Institute in New York City. While I’ve long left city life for calmer ground, my love of pattern, texture, and nature still weave their way in, and form the basis of my paintings. I work in watercolor, acrylic, ink, as well as digitally.

In my paintings and patterns I strive to interpret natural elements in a contemporary, organic and hand-wrought way. I like to think of each piece as a personal meditation of color, texture, and balance.

My artwork is available for licensing and I would love to collaborate in home decor, fabric, wall decor and more. I currently work in Austin, TX.
